Distributors and agents from around the world met in Belfast from 17 – 19th October for the second Global Distributor and Agent Conference, hosted by Northern Ireland-based pharmaceutical engineering company, Sepha Ltd. Under the theme ‘Evolving Together’, delegates were inspired by a full programme of presentations and workshops on non-destructive leak testing equipment, packaging solutions and deblistering solutions. The attendees discovered how alternative and innovative solutions can enable pharmaceutical companies to obtain deterministic, cost effective leak detection results for packaging of their expensive products.
The delegates experienced some of the best Northern Ireland has to offer. Many braved storm Ophelia to stay in the newly opened Titanic Hotel. The first day of the conference kicked off in the Bridge Room of the Titanic Museum, where guests attended presentations on Market Developments, New Product Development, Strategic Planning, Case Studies and Marketing Strategy while enjoying the breath-taking view of Belfast Harbour. Highlight of the day was a quick peek into the Titanic Suite that features a replica of the famous stairs of the Titanic.

A Dinner event was hosted by Belfast City Hall, where guests were welcomed in the stunning Rotunda Hall, followed by a four-course meal in the Reception Room. The intimate setting of yet another prominent location, rich in heritage certainly impressed the delegates, some of which had never visited Belfast or Northern Ireland before.
The second day of the conference continued on the premises of Sepha Ltd in Dundonald. The company has established a global reputation for innovation and development of specialised, high quality equipment for use in the manufacture of pharmaceutical blister packs, medical device and healthcare products. Workshops were based around the three core solutions Sepha provides including Product Integrity, Packaging Solutions and Product Recovery.
